The Farm Energy Company, in partnership with a significant local employer, is exploring the potential of developing a six-turbine wind farm on land 5km north west of Dalry.

Our Proposals

Our initial assessments for the site suggest it could accommodate a wind farm of up to six-turbines with a generating capacity of approximately 25.6MW.

A Scoping Opinion Request has therefore been submitted to North Ayrshire Council which seeks to understand and agree the detailed assessments required as part of any forthcoming planning application.

Community Engagement

We believe it’s important to hear from the local community and stakeholders during the planning process. We’ll be sharing details about our consultation events and public exhibitions on this website soon.
